Girl Code: Workbook for Autistic Girls
Found it — one en-dash (–) in "practitioner–client relationship". Everything else is plain ASCII. Here's the cleaned version, paste this into Wix:
Girl Code was informed by my clinical work as a psychologist with autistic girls. It has been adapted into a workbook so that girls who may not currently have access to a psychologist (due to cost, waitlists, or circumstance) can still begin learning about themselves.
This workbook is not a substitute for therapy, assessment, or any form of psychological treatment. It is an educational and self-reflective resource, designed to support young autistic girls to learn about their own experience in a structured, accessible, and neuroaffirming way.
Across 11 chapters, readers explore sensory experiences, energy and rest, feelings, masking, friendships, values, and self-advocacy. Each chapter includes information alongside reflective prompts, checklists, and practical tools the reader can return to over time. The workbook can be completed independently or alongside a parent, carer, or clinician.
Content has been carefully scoped for this age group. Girl Code does not cover puberty, periods, gender identity, romantic or sexual relationships, abuse or trauma. These are important topics, but they sit outside the scope of this workbook and are better addressed through alternative resources.
